(AP) - A two-member panel of the Nevada Ethics Commission has dismissed a complaint filed by the Nevada Republican Party against state Treasurer Kate Marshall, a Democrat.

The panel concluded Marshall did not gain any unwarranted privileges when her state office phone number was inadvertently listed as her campaign contact number by the secretary of state's office.

Commission officials say Marshall provided both her campaign office and state office phone numbers when she filed for re-election. The state office number was supposed to be a daytime contact number for the media.

But secretary of state officials inadvertently placed her state office number on its websites of campaign contact numbers.

A similar complaint against Secretary of State Ross Miller, a Democrat, was earlier dismissed.
