Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 28-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 10:09 p.m. Friday at Washington and Valley streets on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence, obstructing a police officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,271.
• A 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Sunday at Long and State streets on suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving, drunken driving, resisting a public officer, threats against police and violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $5,743.
• Christopher Stugaard, 37, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 12:27 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $5,496. Also arrested was an 18-year-old Carson City man on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $1,369.
• Christopher Hugh Trappe, 23, a transient, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Sunday at North Carson and William streets on warrants for suspicion of felony robbery, fraudulent use of a credit card, attempting to pass a counterfeit bill and new misdemeanor counts of possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer. No bail was set.
• Leon Gene Rutherford, 30, a cook from Carson City, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on suspicion of felony convicted sex offender failure to register address. Bail was set at $2,500.
• Corey Demont Bynum, 26, a stocker from Carson City, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on suspicion of felony parole violation and misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $4,498.
