In 2009, Rich Liska, master sideman for the Comstock Cowboys, became the band's Miracle Man after fighting both cancer and a life-threatening infection.

The benefit concert is designed to help defray Rich's medical expenses, which are extensive.

The show will be from 6-10 p.m. June 26, at the Governor's Mansion, 606 Mountain St.

There will be a silent auction, no-host bar and lots of fun and friendship.

Admission is $20. To help with specific cancer expenses, tax deductible donations can be given to ElkaBest Cancer Foundation, whose website is www.Elka

Best.org. Patients have their own funds through this organization. Just scroll down until you find the name of Rich Liska.
