WINNEMUCCA (AP) - A 54-year-old Humboldt County man has been charged with the murder of his adult daughter at a home north of Winnemucca.

Undersheriff Curtiss Kull says Leo Hunter Junior was arrested after the shooting of 29-year-old Lenore Warren about 11:15 p.m. Sunday at the home off of U.S. Highway 95.

Kull says Hunter's grandchildren were present at the time.

Deputies responded after receiving a 911 call reporting a shooting.

Hunter originally was booked into the Humboldt Count Jail on charges ranging from assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery, to child endangerment and battery causing substantial bodily harm.

Kull says the murder charge was added on Monday after Warren died.
