Infielder Spencer Ofelt, who led Western Nevada College in batting average this spring , will join national powerhouse Cal State Fullerton.
Two other players recently signed letters of intent. Catcher Chris Sinclair will head back to his home state and join Louisiana-Lafayette, while pitcher Jeff Barto will take the mound next year at Campbellsville University in Kentucky, an NAIA powerhouse that is consistently ranked in the Top 25.
In all, nine 2010 Wildcats are moving on to play at universities, including Kramer Champlin - Arizona State University; Jake Waardenburg - University of Pacific; Jeremy Gendlek - Utah Valley University; David Carroll - University of Maryland; Jordan Lewis - University of Houston; and Riley Bevill - New Mexico State University.
