Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 25-year-old woman from Santa Barbara was arrested at 12:23 a.m. Thursday at Roop and William streets on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. She allegedly drove to Carson City from Santa Barbara after her domestic partner told her the relationship was over. When the victim tried to leave, the suspect struck the victim several times, then fled, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $3,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Vehicle burglary report in the 300 block of North Carson Meadows Drive.

• A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in the 1800 block of North Carson Street at 10:17 a.m.

• Accident at Metric Way and Conestoga Drive at 12:53 p.m.

• Report of several pieces of machinery stolen from a hangar on Arrowhead Drive sometime before 1:17 p.m.

• Report of a step-brother throwing a margarita at a step-sister in the 4300 block of South Carson Street at 2:21 p.m.

• Coroner call on Bryan Circle at 2:30 p.m.

• Report of someone pointing at gun in the 100 block of South Carson Meadows at 5:06 p.m.

• Fight in the 3900 block of Pheasant Drive at 9:10 p.m.

• Fight in the 3500 block of North Carson Street at 10:45 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 2:08 a.m.

• Report of a man lying on a haystack bleeding in the 11000 block of Wrong Way Drive in Stagecoach at 9:35 a.m.

• Caller reported someone painted swastikas and white supremacy propaganda on the side of a vacant building on Cash Drive in Mound House.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Stagecoach at 9:52 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Man on Castle Peak Road reported at 9:18 p.m. he fired a bullet into the ground to scare away a bear that was in his trash.
