Richard Fleischmann, 79, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday June 22, 2010, at Carson Tahoe Hospital.
Dick enjoyed woodworking, restoring antique tractors, anything to do with heavy equipment, spending time at the cabin at Frenchman and working in his shop. He retired from the Nevada Highway Patrol in 1985 with 26 years of service. He also drove logging trucks and worked in construction.
Dick is survived by his wife Linda; children Fritz (Karen) Fleischmann, Phillip (Anna) Fleischmann, David Good, and Andrea (Paul) Coats; grandchildren Peter (Melissa), Regina, Zachary, Ryan and Ethan; great-grandchildren Lorelai and Mason.
Dick was a very special and unique individual. Even if you only met him one time, you remembered him for life. He will be greatly missed by his family and all his friends.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the Fleischmann home in Dayton. Please, no flowers or donations.
