Smith Valley FFA Alumni will sponsor the 4th annual Sagebrush Serenade on Saturday at Dresslerville Park, Wellington. Come and support Smith Valley FFA Alumni as we sponsor an evening of western arts and crafts, cowboy poetry, tri-tip sandwiches, and auctions. This year, the featured artist will be cowboy poet Dave Stamey. The performance will be hosted by Lucy Rechel, local poet and humorist.
Gates open at 3 p.m. with Dave Stamey's performance at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for ages 18 and older, $10 for ages 6-17, and free for 5 and younger.
Smith Valley FFA program members represent the school and community at local, state and national contests as well as at leadership conferences. Proceeds of the Sagebrush Serenade will go directly toward agricultural education programs, scholarships, contests and leadership conferences.
