Senior Strength Training classes are offered at Sierra Place Senior Living 10:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Fridays. The class is free and open to the public.
Colleen Stockton teaches the "Chair Fit" senior fitness program as a gentle way for seniors to safely improve strength and flexibility by exercising while seated. This fun and lively class takes about 30 minutes, two times a week. Stockton has been training for more than 10 years and is certified by the American Council on Exercise and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
