Fremont elementary students go back to school July 19. Before- and after-school care is available through Carson City Recreation Division, which offers safe, convenient and structured enrichment activities.
Before-School Latch Key is at the Community Center Gym from 6:30 a.m. until the Carson City School District bus picks up the children for school. Breakfast is not provided and children will not arrive in time for the breakfast program at school; if necessary, please pack a ready-to-eat breakfast for your child. Children must arrive by 7:45 a.m. in order to ensure pick-up by the bus. Enrollment is limited to seats available on the buses. The program costs $21 per resident child per week.
After-School Latch Key is designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. It operates from 3-6 p.m. Parents must pick up their children by 6 p.m. A late fee of $10 every 15 minutes will be assessed beginning at 6:01 p.m. Enrollment is limited. Cost is $40 per child per week.
