The public is invited to attend an informational meeting from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today at the Carson City Community Center on the proposed Carson City Center Project, formerly known as the Nugget project.

P3 Development's architectural team will present a concept master plan showing placement of proposed public and commercial facilities on eight downtown acres behind the Carson Nugget.

The architects will give a short presentation at 6:30 p.m. in the Sierra Room, and representatives of P3 Development and the architects will be available from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to answer questions.

The presentation at 6:30 p.m. also will be televised on local public access television, Charter Cable Channel 226.

The plans will show the intended locations and sizes of the elements which include a library, plaza, public transit hub, office buildings, retail space and residential units. It will also reflect proposed traffic flow, parking, access and impacts on streets.

P3 Development is under contract with the Carson City Redevelopment Authority and the Mae B. Adams Trust to perform a feasibility analysis for the proposed project.
