Carson Sertoma Club will host Family Fun Night of Music on April 10 at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center featuring bands, barbecue, raffles and a silent auction.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a tri-tip dinner served from 6:10-7:15 p.m. A no-host drink table also will be set up.
The lineup of bands starts at
6 p.m. with ragtime featuring Cris Bayer and "Large Bills Accepted." At 6:45 p.m., barbershop harmonies fill the air with Chorus of The Comstock. Jazz beats start at 7:15 p.m. with Dave Bugli and "Millennium Bugs." The Music of America, hosted by Bob Carroll of KUNR, tops off the evening starting at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $25 general, $20 senior and students and can be purchased at Pip Printing, Q's BBQ Restaurant, Decades Lounge or by calling 885-7579. Table sponsorships are available for $150, with sponsoring name on all posters, ads and at the table.
Additional sponsors and donations for raffle prizes and silent auction items are always welcome.
Proceeds benefit the Carson School For the Hard of Hearing, and local children's support groups for cancer and diabetes.
