Obituary: Ruth Jane Pier

Ruth Jane Pier, 78, of Carson City died March 27, 2010. She was born April 21, 1931, in Lorain Ohio, to Albert and Mary (Cameron) Schramm. She is survived by her husband Robert Pier; children Nancy Kenicon of Minden, Teri Parvis of Brighton, Colo., Mitchell Pier of Carson City, and Sandra NyBlom of Minden; brother Charles Schramm of Null, S.C.; sister Marilyn Bayer of Hillsdale, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
