The Capital City Community Band will present an Old Fashioned Band Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 23 in the Boldrick Theater in the Carson City Community Center.
The band will perform a variety of music ranging from classical to show tunes to marches. This concert is reminiscent of the concerts performed during the John Philip Sousa era.
The Capital City Community Band has been providing free concerts for Carson City residents and the surrounding areas since 1979.
New members are always welcome.
