At the regular meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association, the following officers were elected: President - Mrs. Clarence McGinness. Vice President - Mrs. M. D. Anderson. Secretary - Mrs. Donald Olmsted. Treasurer - Mrs. A. S. Kean. Member-at-large - Mrs. William Bliss. The principal accomplishment of the year was securing the kindergarten for Carson schools.

The old V&T mine was on fire according to Les Groth. Groth warned parents about letting their children near the mine, or any of the many mines in the vicinity.
