Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Rebecca Peltier, 27, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 9 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of gross misdemeanor probation violation. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Items were stolen from yards and the bed of a pickup truck on Margarets Court sometime before 2:58 p.m.

• A Michigan mother reported her child's father in Carson City was refusing to return the child to her. As of Thursday, the child was two weeks overdue to come home, the mother said.

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 11:02 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of tires slashed on several vehicles in the 100 block of Hardie Lane in Fernley at 4:15 a.m.

• A Silver Springs woman reported someone stole her keys and moved her vehicle. "Vehicle was not stolen."

• Misdemeanor drunken driving arrest after and accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 1:20 p.m.

• Report from Sutro Elementary School in Dayton that someone burned the driver's seat

in a teacher's vehicle at

1:38 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest following a report of six people fighting on Short Cut Lane in Fernley at 9:23 p.m.
