Marie C. Farnesi, 93, died May 18, 2010 in Gardnerville. She was born Dec. 18, 1916, in Lodi, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jack Farnesi. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Ana Farnesi of Zephyr Cove, Nev.; brother Patrick Gallagher of Lodi; sisters Billie Flamm of Oakland, Calif., and Hazel Weir of Grants Pass, Ore.; and grandson Darren Farnesi, Md. of San Diego, Calif. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walton's Funeral Home in Reno, followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
