Carson Toyota and Dick Campagni gave the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program $5,000 on Thursday for the organization's July 4 fireworks display.
General Manager Dana Whaley said the goal is to inspire other local businesses to donate to the RSVP to make this year's fireworks show the largest ever.
Last year's display cost $20,000, the largest so far.
Janice Ayres, the executive director of the RSVP, said Toyota's donation was the first given to show this year.
The money made from the fireworks show goes back to the RSVP, which has 1,200 volunteers.
"Any donation would help," Whaley said.
"It all adds up," Ayres said.
