Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 20-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 4200 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. Bail was set at $347.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Personal items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage on South Minnesota Street sometime overnight.

• Report of people smoking marijuana in front of a 3-year-old child inside a Como Street apartment at 12:36 p.m.

• A woman was cited for shoplifting at Sak 'N Save at 6:34 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Cook Street in Fernley at 1:17 a.m.

• A man reported after arguing with a female at a Fernley bar, he went outside and saw his tires were flattened at 5:48 a.m.

• A window on a optometrist's office in Fernley was broken.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Wild land fire was suppressed on Canyon Way at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday.

• Report of theft of a campaign sign on Main Street in Gold Hill at 2:33 p.m. Tuesday.

• A bear was in a backyard on Lousetown Road at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday.
