Carson City supervisors Pete Livermore and Robin Williamson are in a tight race for the Assembly 40 seat.
Livermore has a slight edge over Williamson with early voting and absentee ballot counts at 50.65 percent to 49.35 percent.
Of the 24,737 registered voters in the county, 12,383 voted in the early votes and absentee, so half of the city votes have already been counted.
Livermore, therefore is only leading 120 votes.
In the Washoe County portion of the district, Livermore is also leading with 239 votes to Williamson's 188.
