School bond passes, Swirczek, Myers win

Carson City voters approved a 10-year rollover bond sought by the Carson City School District.

The measure passed with 56.32 percent of the vote.

In other school races, Barbara Myers beat incumbent Randy Carlson for the District 6 seat of the Carson City School Board with 54 percent of the vote.

It's come down to a horse race in District 1 with Ron Swirczek got 50.3 percent vote, beating Julie Bushner who got 49.4 percent.
