The longtime military service and dedication of recently retired Nevada Army Guard soldiers will be recognized Sunday in Carson City during the annual Retiree Appreciation Day.
The event includes a retiree ceremony honoring the Nevada Army Guard's 2010 retirees at 2:30 p.m.
The day's events begin at 10 a.m. and will include a Fallon Naval Air Station commissary lot sale, a retiree briefing, identification card and defense enrollment eligibility updates, and the Hall of Fame retiree awards ceremony.
Organizations set to provide information and answer questions include: Tricare, Job Connect, Veterans Upward Bound, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and the Nevada Office of Veterans Services.
