Jackson leads Ohio past Buffalo, 34-17

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) - Boo Jackson threw two touchdown passes, caught a scoring pass and also ran for a touchdown to help Ohio beat Buffalo 34-17 on Thursday night for its sixth straight victory.

Jackson opened the scoring for Ohio (7-3, 5-1 Mid-American Conference) with a 1-yard run and caught a 26-yard scoring pass from Phil Bates on the Bobcats' next drive.

In the second half, Jackson threw two 15-yard touchdown passes to Terrence McCrae.

Jackson was 13 of 19 for 175 yards and ran seven times for 26 yards.

Alex Zordich threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Rivers and also scored on a 6-yard run for Buffalo (2-7, 1-4). Zordich was 8 of 26 for 84 yards with two interceptions and ran for 59 yards on 20 carries.
