Obituary: Karl Wesley Cosens

Karl Wesley Cosens, 86, of Carson City died Oct. 27, 2010. He was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Sacramento to Amy and Wesley Cosens. He is survived by wife June Cosens; children Cary Cosens of Fernley, Don Cosens of Carson City, Karla Cosens (Todd) of Reno, and Marcey Draper (Greg) of Carson City; sisters Barbara Shullman of Watsonville, Calif., and Norma Welty of Aptos, Calif.; grandchildren Caitlin, McKenzie, Wyatt and Kyle; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members. A reception celebrating Karl's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at Genoa Lakes Golf Resort, 2901 Jacks Valley Road, Mountain View Room. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
