Power out for 100

Faulty underground equipment knocked out power Monday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. to an estimated 100 residents in north east Carson City.

Karl Walquist, spokesman for NV Energy, said crews were on scene at Jefferson Drive and Tesla Court trying to restore power to the affected houses. The power is expected to be back up by 6 p.m.

Homes affected are north of Arrowhead Drive and east of Highway 395.
