The developers of the Traditions, Village One planned community near Dayton are seeking a five-year extension on their development agreement with Lyon County.
The proposal is being reviewed by the Lyon County District Attorney's office and is expected to be returned to the Lyon County planning commission within 90 days.
Planning Assistant Kerry Page said the development, which would include housing, retail and urban use space on 934 acres, was first proposed in 2004, but struggled to gain traction once the economy began to sour.
