Richard D. Randall Sr., 89, of Carson City left us on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. He was born in Ortonville, Minn., on Feb. 27, 1921 to Malcolm and Catherine Randall. He was married to two wonderful women: Lorraine (deceased) and Margie for a total of over 60 years.
As a career Navy man (30 years), he was most proud that he served in three wars or conflicts, WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He lived many years in San Diego before moving to Carson City in 1986. He loved life and lived it to the fullest for as long as he could.
He is survived by his wife Margie and her children David, John and Kathryn; and his sons, Richard Jr., Timothy and Bryan. He also leaves behind his four loving sisters: Lucille, Marguerite, Joyce and Ardeth, and numerous nephews and nieces. Not to be forgotten are his seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. They carry his legacy forward. We all love him and will miss him forever.
Anchors aweigh to the Chief! He was a Master Mason for many years in Carson Lodge #1 F&AM, as well the Kerak Shrine.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov 18 at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Interment with military honors will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
