LAS VEGAS (AP) - A magazine survey of communities across the United States has named two Nevada towns to a list of "most religious" cities.

Las Vegas was ranked No. 56 and Reno was No. 84 on the list of 100 cities compiled by Men's Health, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

In making the list, the magazine considered each city's per capita number of places of worship, religious organizations and the number of volunteers supporting them, financial contributions to religious organizations and expenditures on religious books.

Las Vegas was tied with Philadelphia and Modesto, Calif., at 56.

Named the 10 most religious cities were Colorado Springs, Colo., Greensboro, N.C., Oklahoma City, Wichita, Kan., Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Fla., Portland, Ore., Birmingham, Ala., Charlotte, N.C., and Little Rock, Ark.
