GENOA - Trading Places International hosted a series of informational meetings in October for current David Walley's Resort time-share owners to introduce the new management company and discuss the future of the resort.

Summer Winds Resorts was introduced as the owners of the recently acquired resort spa, restaurant, deli, cottages, and undeveloped land across Foothill Road from David Walley's. Summer Winds has also acquired a large number of unsold timeshare intervals.

Working with the David Walley's board of directors, Trading Places organized three town hall meetings in Sacramento and Genoa. These two sites have a high ownership population, and Genoa is where the resort is located. Response for the first meeting in Sacramento was so overwhelming a fourth meeting was added to the agenda.. More than 900 owners were in attendance to ask questions and learn about the progress the board of directors and Trading Places have made on the resort.

"The meetings were a huge success," said Marlena Forst, president of the David Walley's board of directors. "We made a great decision in selecting Trading Places for management - their expertise is unparalleled. The owners were eager to ask questions and left feeling optimistic about the bright future of David Walley's."

Topics of discussion included future on-site plans, the resort's current financial position and future goals, and culminated with a question-and-answer session with the board of directors and RJ Jackson, president of Trading Places International.
