Carson City health officials announced a new schedule of hours for the Carson City Animal Shelter, located at 3770 Butti Way. The new hours will go into effect on Dec. 7.
New hours will be as follows:
• Customer service/business office: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday.
• Pet adoption and kennel viewing: Noon to 4:45 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday.
The new schedule reflects a decrease by one day from the current schedule. The Carson City Animal Shelter is now closed all Sundays, Mondays and holidays. For more information, call 887-2171.
