Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Harry Jim, 67, retired from Carson City, was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. Someone allegedly reported seeing Jim, a registered sex offender, loitering near Mills Park while children were present. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A Carson Middle School student was arrested at 9:30 a.m. at the school after reports he had a gun on campus. When the vice principal checked the student's locker, a BB gun was found in the boy's backpack. The BB gun reportedly resembled a real weapon with none of the markings that usually indicate it's a toy.

• Accident in the westbound lanes of Highway 395 at 5:17 p.m.

• Report of a GPS stolen from the 600 block of Bunker Hill Drive at 8:48 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 3:46 a.m.

• Arrest on Highway 50 East at Apache Drive in Silver Springs at 8:28 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Sunset Hills Drive in Mason Valley at 10:04 p.m.
