Nugget craft fair helps CASA

CASA of Carson City Executive Director Chris Bayer received a $500 check Wednesday from Maxine Nietz of the Arlington Group, with Star Anderson, Carson Nugget general manager, looking on. The funds were raised at the Nugget Pre-Noel Craft Fair, Nov. 6, 7, 13 and 14. CASA supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every abused or neglected child can have the opportunity to thrive.
