Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., has announced he will bring legislation repealing the military Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy to the floor for a vote after Thanksgiving but before the end of the year when newly-elected members take office.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell is the policy which says gays can serve in the military only as long as they don't admit to being gay but must be discharged if they are discovered to be gay.
