RENO (AP) - Nineteen people, including at least three unsuccessful candidates in the Nov. 2 election, have applied to replace late Reno Municipal Court Judge Paul Hickman.
Hickman died Oct. 21 after holding the post for 19 years.
The applicants were each invited to give a three-minute presentation before the Reno City Council on Dec. 1.
The council is scheduled Dec. 11 to appoint the new judge.
