Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Ryne Mitchell Snoddy, 18, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of East William Street on suspicion of felony commercial burglary and gross misdemeanor destruction of property. Police allegedly caught him climbing out a broken window at Blockbuster carrying game consoles. Bail was set at $25,000.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Arrest on Nevada Pacific Boulevard in Fernley at 7:12 a.m.

• Felony arrest on Reese River Road in Fernley at 9:51 a.m.

• Report of a child in Fernley escaping out of his bedroom window and running to a neighbor's house after his mother beat him at 4:56 p.m.

He reportedly had a "laceration and bumps all over his head."

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of a dog left in a kennel day and night without shelter in a backyard on Prospector Road.

• Report of a vehicle sliding into a snowbank at 11:54 p.m. at Sutton and D streets. An arrest was made.
