Mound House water main break leaves some without water

A water main break in Mound House may take more than six hours to repair, according to officials.

The main burst about 6:30 p.m. and has left homes on the north side of the highway without water.

Crews are on scene and are attempting to repair the main. Jeff Page with Lyon County Emergency Management said it could take four to six hours or more to repair the line.

Those homes that still have water, but low pressure, are being asked to limit their water usage, said Page
