Obituary: Orval Lewis Phipps

Orval Lewis Phipps, 88, of Silver Springs, died Nov. 26, 2010. He was born Nov. 22, 1922 in Walters, Okla., to Robert Jay and Grace (Riney) Phipps. He was preceded in death by wife Lori Phipps. He is survived by son Orval "Butch" (Valeree) Lewis of Salt Lake City; daughter Mary Beth (Donald) Cartmill of Midwest City, Okla.; daughter Deena (Douglas) Borremans of Silver Springs; son Robert "Jay" (Ira) Phipps of Silver Springs; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
