A Dayton man has been charged with seven counts related to the molestation of a young girl there.
Eugenio Fonseca-Avilez, 46, was arrested Sept. 23 on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault and five counts of lewdness with a child under the age of 14 for the alleged rape of a girl from September 2008 to September 2010. The child was between the ages of 11 and 13 when the offenses happened. She confided in a teacher who called police.
According to the criminal complaint filed this week, the assaults happened at Fonseca-Avilez's Hidden Oaks Drive home in Dayton.
He will appear in Dayton Justice Court next week.
Fonseca-Avilez is being held on $150,000 bail.
