A DVD film promoting the reconstruction of the V&T Railroad will debut at Fan-dango's Galaxy Theater Oct. 7.
Janice Ayres of the Northern Nevada Railway Foundation said the film was produced by Dan Dominy, a retired Hollywood cinematographer.
The hour-long show will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 a person or $90 a couple and include hors d'oeuvres, wine, a commemorative photo, collectable ticket and program.
She said the invitations to the screening already have gone out to people who have supported and worked on the railroad project. But she said anyone else interested in attending can contact the foundation at 885-6833 or at info@steamtrain.org.
