High Sierra Fly Casters presents a family film night

The High Sierra Flycasters will present a public service showing of "Rivers of a Lost Coast." This is a documentary which chronicles the development of fly fishing and the eventual decline in steelhead and salmon fisheries in the northern California coastal rivers.

The showing will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville. Hot dogs, soft drinks, and popcorn will be served and the movie will begin at 7 p.m.
