A Carson City man was jailed Wednesday morning after he was found inside a closed McDonald's.

Josh Thomas Uhlmeyer, 29, was booked into the Carson City Jail at 4 a.m. on suspicion of felony burglary and malicious destruction of property.

According to the arrest report, the manager of the McDonald's at the corner of Winnie Lane and North Carson Street arrived at the business at 3:49 a.m. and discovered broken windows. The manager said he could also hear noises coming from inside the building.

As deputies entered the building, they heard Uhlmeyer talking in the basement, where he'd apparently sprayed a fire extinguisher, filling the room with the exhaust, according to the report.

Uhlmeyer was arrested without incident. As he was being led to the patrol car, he allegedly asked officers if they were in the video game "Resident Evil," according to the police report.

Uhlmeyer allegedly asked, "if we got all the zombies," the report states.

Along with the broken windows, deputies found a damaged television, computer, furniture and other items.

Uhlmeyer's bail was set at $25,000.
