Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Baker Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. He claims his wife attacked him with a salad fork and he had to defend himself. She claims he attacked her while she was holding the fork, and she had to use it to defend herself. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Thursday at Airport Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of suspended sentence. Bail was set at $2,864.

• A 35-year-old mechanic from Carson City was arrested at 7:03 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Drive and Saliman Road on suspicion of drunken driving and a left turn violation. Bail was set at $2,607.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report at 10:10 a.m. of a quad stolen from the 1600 block of Koontz Lane sometime overnight.

• Report of a woman "screaming for help" in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive at 4:47 p.m.

• Report of a man with super ficial stab wounds in the 700 block of North Walsh Street at 3:04 a.m. Wednesday An arrest was made.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A woman was cited for shoplifting on East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 1:09 p.m.

• Report of a student possibly under the influence of drugs at Dayton High School at 2:44 p.m.

• Arrest on Cottonwood Lane in Fernley at 7:46 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A woman on Elizabeth Lane reported at 3:22 p.m. that a female 10- or 12-week-old puppy followed her daughter home. The woman said she would keep the puppy until its owner was located.
