Gov. Jim Gibbons has named Steve Robinson to ensure that the transition to a new administration will be smooth.
Robinson was a senior staff member during the transition between Gov. Robert List and Richard Bryan. He also worked on the transition from Gov. Kenny Guinn to Gibbons four years ago.
"I promised the people of Nevada a seamless and smooth transition between my administration and the next one," he said. "This is a crucial time in Nevada's history and our citizens deserve the full uninterrupted support of their state government.
Robinson has extensive experience in government at both the state and federal levels. In addition, he has worked at R&R Partners, focusing on environmental issues.
