Carson City

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Scott Steven Ralidak, 55, a seeder from Minne-sota, was arrested Wednes-day at the Carson City Jail on a felony warrant for probation violation. He was picked up in Minnesota on the Nevada warrant and brought to Carson City about 2:10 a.m. No bail was set.

• Report of three counterfeit checks passed at a Highway 50 East casino in the past week.

• A witness reported seeing different students walk up to a van parked in Mills Park then walk away at 2:09 p.m. The caller thought the van occupants may have been selling drugs. When deputies contacted the occupants they recovered a "small amount of marijuana in a pipe." A citation was issued.

• Report of four fraudulent checks received by a South Carson Street auto dealer.

• A computer, books, speaker and cell phone were reported stolen and instruments wrecked at 7:43 p.m. from the 600 block of Spear Street.

• Cameras were stolen from a home in the 5400 block of Salk Road sometime before 8:37 p.m.
