Gas prices are jumping back up across most of Nevada, just not in Carson City.

According to the latest report from AAA Nevada, Nevada's average gas price is $2.89 a gallon, a five-cent increase from last month's survey on Sept. 14.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Reno is $2.99, a six-cent increase since last month. Las Vegas is averaging $2.82, up nine cents from last month's survey.

Carson City is the only location where the average has actually dropped from last month's survey by a penny to $2.86.

The national average for regular is now $2.81, a nine-cent increase since last month's AAA survey.
