Carson City's small claims court ruled in favor of the Brewery Arts Center after it took Mom and Pop's owner Doug Cramer to court last month.

Cramer now owes the BAC $2,483.33 for a $7,000 contract he signed to participate in the 2009 Fridays at Third concert series.

Judge Myla Florence ruled in favor of the Brewery Arts Center after the Sept. 23 court hearing.

Cramer stopped paying on the contract in August 2009, alleging former BAC Executive Director John Procaccini, whose BAC directs the concert series on behalf of the city, breached the contract by altering the location and size of the portable bars for the participating businesses despite a separate diagram that determined where the bars would be placed.

After paying on the contract for several weeks, Cramer suddenly stopped.

He said on Thursday that he is working out a payment plan with the BAC.
