LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 58-year-old Las Vegas pastor pleaded not guilty to sex abuse and lewdness charges stemming from allegations that he had sexual relationships with teen boys at his home.

Revival Temple Church of God in Christ leader Billy Eckstine McCurdy remained Thursday at the Clark County jail on $250,000 bail following his arraignment Wednesday. He's due again in court on Oct. 21.

McCurdy was arrested Oct. 8 after two boys told a grand jury he used his position in the church and cited biblical passages to induce them into sex acts.

Police say McCurdy took teens on trips, held sleepovers at his North Las Vegas home and had teens live with him.
