Comstock for the Cure races on Sunday

The Comstock for the Cure - Race for the Cure takes place 8-11 a.m. Sunday in Virginia City.

Virginia City High School senior Micah Blakely is hosting the Race for the Cure in Virginia City for his senior project.

The race will consist of a 5K course, available as a timed-run or timed-fitness walk. The course will consist of many roadways within Virginia City including the opportunity to see some of it's most famous buildings and landmarks. All ages are able to participate. The minimum registration fee is $35 for adults, $25 for students, and $15 for children (ages 6-12). Kids 5 and younger are free. Registration includes a T-shirt. Donations also are welcome.
