Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Tiffany Dorothy Spitzer, 27, of Reno, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at Carson Street and Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• Sheila Songer, 29, a home health care provider from Carson City, surrendered on a warrant at 5 p.m. Monday for suspicion of gross misdemeanor child neglect and endangerment. According to a criminal complaint, Songer "maintained an unhealthy living environment for her four children" ranging in ages from 4 years to 4 months old. The complaint alleges Songer's home was filthy, with "dirty dishes, trash and clothes all throughout." The children allegedly didn't have beds and the home smelled of urine. Songer's bail was set at $5,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A manager reported at 9:37 a.m. a recently fired employee threatened to "see them later."

• Aluminum wheels and tires were reported missing from the 2500 block of Boeing Way at 10:23 a.m.

• Report of cash and possibly checks missing from a business on Fairview Drive at 1:37 p.m.

• A man reported his elderly friend donated money to a few different charities and then realized over $8,000 was taken from her checking account.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report at 2:04 a.m. of a vehicle connected to a missing person case found with the keys in it in a Fernley parking lot. The subject of the missing person's report said he was not missing, just wanted to get away.

• A girl in Dayton reported at 9:21 a.m. the father of her 17-year-old boyfriend beat him.

• Commercial burglary report on at the Moose Lodge on Main Street in Fernley at 10:45 a.m.

• Two students at Fernley Intermediate School were cited for fighting at 12:36 p.m.

• Report of a Mound House 14-year-old running away sometime before 4:01 p.m.

• A Fernley mother reported four juveniles punched her son and daughter at 4:14 p.m.

• A Mark Twain father reported at 5:14 p.m. his daughter was beat up after she got off the school bus.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 5:54 p.m.

• A Fernley woman reported her neighbors were yelling for her to come outside and fight at 11:30 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report at 11:37 a.m. of a missing Siamese cat from North G Street last seen four days ago.

• Resident on Sam Clemens Avenue reported receiving threatening text messages at 5:28 p.m.
