LAS VEGAS (AP) - Hundreds of students, friends and family members retraced the walking route a Las Vegas high school physics teacher used to take to school before he was killed by a vehicle after a robbery last week.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported some 400 people turned out for the pre-dawn march Monday honoring Timothy VanDerbosch near Eldorado High School.

The 50-year-old VanDerbosch taught at the northeast Las Vegas campus for 15 years.

His older brother, Terry VanDerbosch, told the Review-Journal that VanDerbosch was originally from Indiana.

No arrests have been made in VanDerbosch's death. Police say it may have been one of a series of thrill attacks last Wednesday on at least seven people.

Police say VanDerbosch was beaten and left in a street where he was struck by a passing vehicle.
